The September 10th Worship Service was a great time of encouragement for the 11 students (preschool through recent high school grads). Pastor Wendell Hall's sermon focus on dispelling some of the falsehoods spreaded by today's culture. Pastor Hall, sat and leaned in while sharing sincere truths about God's creation, God's intentions for the young people, and more.
The students were invited to sit on the front pews and Pastor sat engaging them like a favored uncle. Pictured is Pastor Hall praying over the youth and inviting God's wisdom and protection.
Clearly, our youth are not only our future, but also our present hope for a better tomorrow. They are favored by Jesus Christ as evidenced in Matthew 19:14 when He said, "Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven."
The students received book bags filled with school supplies. The service concluded with a celebratory dinner to honor the youth. This Worship Service experience will serve as a lasting memory for the youth going forward. Pray for their continued progress in Christ.
